What about members who have saved more than 5% of their net salary as compulsory savings while the SACCO was operating as a mutual aid group (tontine)?

As per the resolution passed by the General Assembly, the amount saved above 5% is kept in a “term deposit account” with 3% interest for a maximum of three years. This resolution does not apply to members who have utilized their savings as collateral for loans.
